Recipe: Slow Cooker Spaghetti Bolognaise

Spag Bol, everybody loves it right? Well that’s what I thought until my then 9 year old decided she didn’t like it. So I headed to google to find a new recipe and boom…slow cooker spaghetti bolognaise was introduced to our meals weekly. This is my version, I changed it up a little bit to suit our tastes.

Slow Cooker Spaghetti Bolognaise

  • Servings: Approx 6

Ingredients


500gm beef or lamb mince (or both if you prefer)
1 jar tomato base spaghetti sauce
1 can condensed tomato soup
1tsp mince garlic
1 onion finely diced
1 carrot grated
1 zucchini grated
1 tsp Italian herbs
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the slow cooker; No need to brown the mince, just break it up
  2. Give a good stir to combine
  3. Place on low for 6 hours, stirring every couple of hours
  4. Serve on your favourite pasta with cheese

You can add different vegetables if you please. Copes well on the ‘Keep Warm’ setting of a slow cooker. Freezer friendly.
