I’ve been MIA for a bit, dealing with 4 kids while hubby is on deployment..again, sore back, school and just general everyday life…so today I am doing an easy blog entry….
Review: MillaRuby Designs.
MillaRuby Designs owned and operated since 2008 by Caddie. Named after her 2 daughters Millana and Ruby. Offering customs boutique designs of baby and girls clothing up to size 12!
Situated in Rockingham, Caddie is a one woman show. All items are handmade with love, apart from her leotards which are made by one of her friends.
Myla was lucky enough to score a brand rep position for MillaRuby, in exchange for discounted clothing all we have to do is promote and share photographs on instagram and Facebook…It’s a pretty good gig. Myla has been repping for Caddie for almost 2 years now and we love every single piece we buy or are gifted. And over the almost 2 years Caddie and I have become good friends.
Since repping for her I may have helped her open up her variety of items, from some of my (and other brand rep mumma’s) suggestions she has added flutter sleeves to leotards and she has stepped out of her comfort zone and created a couple of ‘mashed’ pattern items, which turned out amazing, she has even added a few boys pieces.
From suspender skirts to ruffle bum nappy covers….her work is amazing and the prices are incredibly affordable.
I co admin with another brand rep mumma and Caddie the Facebook VIP group. Here you will see exclusive releases, comps and fan of the month. (See link below)
Caddie used to do the Perth UpMarket and some other markets around Perth, but with the success of the VIP group, she has stopped going and now sells via Facebook (vip group and page), her website and also has items at a few little boutique stores.
Just remember when you do order Caddie works alone, so your items may take 2-3 weeks to be made…but they are well worth the wait.
From the website:
‘Hello. Thank you for visiting my website!
MillaRuby Designs came about after the birth of my 2 girls, Millana and Ruby.
After taking some leave from nursing to take care of my girls I wanted to start a hobby that I could do in spare time. First it was scrapbooking and hand made toys , then I dabbled into sewing some clothes for them to model.
Soon I was addicted. I love to sew or should I say live! lol
My girls were the most eager to try all my new creations and I recieved al to of fantastic compliments.
I entered the world of markets and after the positive reviews from customers on my quality and fabric choices and numerous Facebook sales I have taken the plunge into having my own store online.
I love finding gorgeous fabric and love matching the fabric to the perfect pattern! I have a few 🙂
So please take the time to look at my store, I put a lot of effort into what I make and I hope you love it as much as I do.’
