Recipe: Slow Cooker Spaghetti Bolognaise

Recipe: Slow Cooker Spaghetti Bolognaise

Spag Bol, everybody loves it right? Well that’s what I thought until my then 9 year old decided she didn’t like it. So I headed to google to find a new recipe and boom…slow cooker spaghetti bolognaise was introduced to our meals weekly. This is my version, I changed it up a little bit to suit our tastes.

Slow Cooker Spaghetti Bolognaise

  • Servings: Approx 6
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

500gm beef or lamb mince (or both if you prefer)
1 jar tomato base spaghetti sauce
1 can condensed tomato soup
1tsp mince garlic
1 onion finely diced
1 carrot grated
1 zucchini grated
1 tsp Italian herbs
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  1. Place all ingredients into the slow cooker; No need to brown the mince, just break it up
  2. Give a good stir to combine
  3. Place on low for 6 hours, stirring every couple of hours
  4. Serve on your favourite pasta with cheese

You can add different vegetables if you please. Copes well on the ‘Keep Warm’ setting of a slow cooker. Freezer friendly.

Review: Posy Drop

Review: Posy Drop

I love to support local small businesses. Myla is a brand ambassador for a local handmade company in Rockingham (See Review: MillaRuby Designs) so when I discovered Posy Drop on instagram while scrolling late one night, I instantly fell in love with the company and to be a local small company was a bonus!
Specialising in unique bouquets of flowers this little business is definitely not one to pass by.

Gorgeous arrangements

From their website:
Posy Drop delivers fresh, gorgeous posies of flowers into the homes and lives of people living in Rockingham and surrounding suburbs.
Our hand-crafted creations are the perfect gift to give your family, friends, colleagues, lover (or even yourself!) to let them know you care. To bring a smile to their face. To bring some joy to their day.
Every Saturday to Wednesday Kate is up with the birds and the fresh sea side air – busily bringing to life the freshest of posies sourced from Perth’s best flower markets.
It’s simple – your posies are dropped to your doorstep, with love, for only $35 – including delivery!
We take pre-booked and same-day online orders until 1pm (or until we sell out) and our dedicated flower droppers drop to your doorstep between 4 and 7pm, Saturday to Wednesday.
Want to drop a bigger bunch? Select “Double Drop” from the drop down menu for a $70 super posy. Just remember to pre-order (at least the day before) to ensure availability of flowers.
So jump online, order your posy and we will lovingly take care of the rest!

I was lucky enough to win a instagram comp and received a lovely bunch of flowers, within hours of being announced of being a winner. The flowers were hand delivered with a smile, beautifully arranged and smelt amazing! Definitely worth the $35 price tag.
